Thrombocytopenia – Why Has Your Immune System Become a Killer

Suffering from thrombocytopenia for a long time? Wondering how in the world did you ever develop such a condition like this? Will you ever get over this problem and go into remission? Keep on reading because I am going to try and address this issue.
Your immune system has become a killer
The main reason that you have thrombocytopenia is because your immune system has become a killer! That is right. Just imagine being in a war when suddenly a big fog develops around the whole camp and everyone becomes confused and starts shooting at their own soldiers instead of killing the enemy. Something like that happens with thrombocytopenia. Instead of attacking only the bugs and germs and cancer cells, your immune system has started to attack your platelets.
And since the platelets are important for clotting well you know the rest of the story. You start experiencing the following symptoms:
1. Petechiae – which are the small red dots that develop under the skin as a sign of internal bleeding
2. Bleeding in  the gums, among other places
3. General feeling that something is not right. Like when you are getting a cold.
Different factors that could have possibly started the whole thing
Even though everything is not known about immune thrombocytopenia, there are enough factors that have been researched that give us clues as to the possible cause.
Vaccinations are a possible cause of thrombocytopenia especially in children. I believe that even though vaccinations have saved lives and have eliminated some major diseases (even though some authorities do not believe this at all) we have come to pay the price in many other chronic diseases. And thrombocytopenia is in the list of included diseases that occur as a side effect of vaccines.
Other autoimmune diseases have also been connected to vaccination. But I am not a vaccine basher. I am just telling you what research clearly shows. Some other researchers believe that a possible viral infection could have initiated the whole thing.
Others like me believe that there is not one specific cause for this disease. And that is the reason why medical practitioners will say that the cause is “is unknown”.
Other connections have been made with thrombocytopenia and one of the things listed below:
1) Bacterial infections – especially Helicobacter pylori. This bacterium is the culprit in stomach acid diseases and ulcers.
2) Food intolerance
3) Gluten intolerance
4) Stress – more considered a precipitating factor
Whatever the reason your immune system became a killer of platelets, you can benefit greatly from natural remedies to help build your platelets and maintain great health.
